    <abstract locale="en_US">Bukhtishu were a family of Iranian physicians who provided medical services to the Abbasid Caliphate's court for six generations, from the eighth to the eleventh centuries. Their place of origin was The Academy of Gondishapur, which was located in the southwestern region of Iran. This article examines the family's history and their significant contributions to the Islamic Golden Age.</abstract>
