    <abstract locale="en_US">Haemoglobin MBosron is described in_a ] 9 year old Iranian male,= his fat her and three out of his five brothers and sisters which were cyanotic from the birth. The presen ce of haemoglobin Mwas established after strach-gel electrophoresis of the ferri cyanide t reated haemolysate at pH 7 .] and by spectroscopic examination of the' purifi ed abnormal haemoglobin at pH 6.5.</abstract>

    <abstract locale="en_US">On the basis cross sectional health and morbidity survey was conducted in 1973, an attempt was made to measure the prevalence of high blood pressure among Qashqai Tribe. Our study showed that hypertension is by no means a rare condition among nomads and it tends to be a little higher in women than in men age gtoUp 35 years and o ver , Our figures showed that the pattern of increase of prevalence of high blood pressure with the increase of age.</abstract>

    <abstract locale="en_US">Five first-stage-larvae were removed by soft and pointed blottingpaper from the left eye of a woman and they were identified as oestrus ovis. She was infected in Tehran and this is the first true case of ophrhalmomyiasis due to sheep nasal bot fly in Iran. Reports indicate that case of ophrhalmomyiasis are more frequent in Iranian villages with different degree of .severity. Methods for prevention and treatments are also discussed.</abstract>

    <abstract locale="en_US">Serologic diagnostic of hydatid cyst by immuno-fluorescence technique
Of the serological methods for the diognosis of hydatid cystimmuno-fl uoresccnt technique using fro zen section of the sco lex as antigen has given encouraging results. In t he present study examina t io n o f 8 5 sera correspond ing to h yd atido se patien ts by t his met hod, has shown th at 94% of th e cas es can be d e tect ed with thi s high sensit ivit y te chniq ue. And thi s me thod can be co nsid ered as o ne o f th e best serologica l methods for the diagnostic of Echinococcosis.</abstract>
